OVERVIEW
NATURAL CHARM AND HISTORY
A 12-day intense itinerary will take us through 6 provinces and “different” Cambodia. One of the provinces is the most remote from places of tourist pilgrimage and, therefore, the least visited. Ratanakiri is famous for its untouched nature, semi-wild tribes, beautiful lakes, waterfalls, and mountains. In the jungle, you can still find wild elephants, colourful parrots, and gibbons.
ONLY ON THIS TOUR
- Three days in the pristine nature of the subequatorial jungle with overnight stays in a hammock, dinners by the fire, swimming in waterfalls, wildlife watching and river rafting.
- Swimming in the stunning Yeak Laom crater lake.
- Ethnic minorities, their customs and pagan cults.
- A place where locals mine gemstones in a primitive way.
- The mysterious Koh Ker and its most ambitious structure – the seven-tiered pyramid.
- Wat Nokor, one of the most beautiful Buddhist pagodas.
- The pearls of Kratie: Thma Krae village, sticky rice baked in bamboo, climbing Phnom Sambok hill with monasteries and breathtaking views.
- Observation of freshwater dolphins – residents of the Mekong.
- The controversial border temple of Preah Vihear on the Thai border is the brainchild of seven Khmer monarchs.
